myUVU Online Account Access
Utah Valley University offers its students, staff, and faculty to access myUVU Online Portal and become eligible to use many UVU services and systems on a regular basis. Like using the myUVU, the students will have access to their classes, email (myUVU Gmail), registration, records, and many more as well as the employees have access to faculty resources and services all in one location.
Utah Valley University, formerly known as Utah Valley State College, is a public university in Orem, Utah. In 2008, the school was attained university. UVU offers masters, bachelor’s, and associate degrees. It is also the largest employer in Orem with more than 1900 full-time faculty and staff and over 3000 part-time employees.
How to Log In myUVU Online Account
For myUVU Online Account Access, the active Utah Valley University students and employees can use their current UVU Identity that they use to log in most of the UVU system. If you are a UVU student or staff you can use the following steps to log in.
- Go to myUVU web portal at my.uvu.edu
- Click on the green “Sign In” button at the right-hand side under ‘Welcome to myUVU’.
- Enter your UV ID and Password in their respective fields in the middle on the next UVU Login Service page. The first time user will be needed to input their 8-digit birth date in the form of mmddyyyy with no space and dash as the password.
- Click the “LOGIN” button to enter the myUVU system to access the resources.
Note that for security reasons, it is recommended to use myUVU only if you have a current UVID and log out to exit the web browser when you are done accessing services required authentication.
How to Recover myUVU Online Account Login Information
The myUVU Online Account users, who cannot recall their UVU Identity and are unable to sign in, can self-serve to recover or reset them in order to regain their myUVU Online Account Access.

To Look Up UVID
Utah Valley University students and employees can find their UVID using the UVID Lookup. The link will be located at the left bottom of the myUVU portal as well as under the UV ID field on the UVU Login Service page. Entering the UVID Lookup, submit the following information.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Birth Date
- And Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
The international students, who do not have SSN, leave the field blank and provide some additional information asked for. Once all the required information will be entered click the “find” button at the bottom of the UVID Lookup page and you will be provided with your UVID.
To Reset UV ID Password
And if you set up a password for your myUVU Online Account when you previously log in to the site but have forgotten it now, you canReference:
- Click the “Forgot Your Password?” below the Sign-In button at myUVU portal.
- Enter your UV ID Number in the field on the Password Self Service page
- Click on the green “Next” button.
You will be sent a verification code to one or both of your Recovery Options: email address and phone number. Enter that verification number on the password recovery page to reset the password and obtain access to your myUVU Online Account again.
If your password recovery options have not been set up, you will need to contact the UVU Service Desk for assistance.
Still experiencing difficulties to access myUVU system, check with your administrative assistant to confirm that the hiring paperwork has been submitted if you are a new UVU employee. And the new students contact Admissions and make sure that they have been admitted to UVU.
